Club Update 2010
As of May, 2010, the Purple Rain Soccer Club is stronger than ever. With over 12 teams and 02 teams in the works, the Purple Rain Soccer Club continues to grow and is proud of its Independent identity. We continue to train some of the best soccer players in the Memphis Area. With a new identity, a new direction, and a Board of made up of our parents, the Club continues to provide a balanced alternative to competitive soccer for girls in the Memphis area. The tryout schedule is out and we invite you to come at the Jewish Community Center the first and second week in June. The Purple Rain Soccer Club is a member of the Koinonia Soccer Association (KSA). The name Koinonia comes from the Greek and means sharing relationshiops towards the well being of the community. KSA is the largest Independent Soccer Association in Shelby County. The Club was established in the mid 1980s and over the past twenty years has developed some of the region's leading soccer players.
